Warm Cheesy Spinach Dip with Bacon
This cheesy spinach dip with bacon recipe makes the perfect party appetizer or game day snack. It’s easy to make and it’s a low carb dip, too!
Oh my gosh, it’s really happening! My favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers played a nail-biter of a game to win over the Dallas Cowboys, so we’re headed to Seattle next week for a chance to take home the conference championship!
Honestly, if you had told me 10 years ago that I would be this excited about watching a football game, I would have laughed myself senseless. Sure, I’ve watched football for as far back as I can remember, but until I met Brian, I really didn’t understand the rules well enough to completely follow a game. I was more excited about the game day food than I was the game.
Oh… wait. I guess some things never change because I’m still excited about the game day food. How could I not be excited about a warm cheesy dip like spinach dip with bacon?!
Because the Super Bowl is coming up after our division win next week (did you see what I did just now? Optimism for the win, gang!), I wanted to find a quick and easy snack recipe to make.
Yes, I do remember that I posted a recipe last week that has cheese and bacon in it. But hello, this dip has warm cheese and bacon! Is it wrong that I love it so much??
After looking over a few of the recipes on my appetizers board on Pinterest, I decided on this Cheesy Spinach Dip with Bacon.
If loving warm, ooey, gooey cheese, healthy spinach, and crispy bits of bacon is wrong, then I don’t ever want to be right!
Warm Cheesy Spinach Dip with Bacon

Congrats on the win yesterday, Becca…but don’t you mean conference championship? Hehe…either way, there’s only 4 teams left and someone will win 2 games. 🙂 Speaking of winning, can we talk about this dip? I love me some spinach dip, and in fact I ate it all weekend here…but yours has bacon in it. Therefore you win. Bacon makes everything better!!
Oh my crap… I need to learn to finish up my posts when I’m not so giddy, Dave! Thanks for the heads up 😉
Oh man. This dip would not last 5 minutes in my house! Looks so good!
It’s an amazing dip, Stephanie, and you’re probably right on the mark about the 5 minute “shelf life” 🙂
This looks amazing! What did you use for dipping — pita chips?
My kind of food! I mean, it’s got the three food groups: cheese, bacon, and more cheese. 🙂
haha! I tend to overlook the other ingredients too, Susan!
My family is over the moon, too! Go, Pack, Go!!! P.S. What a terrific spinach dip!
This would be a big party hit! Loving that touch of bacon too because who doesn’t love bacon?!
You are SO on the money, there!
Uhm, did someone say bacon?! That’s all I need to know. This dip sounds fantastic! I make a spinach artichoke dip and know I’m wondering why oh why I’ve never added bacon to it!! Great idea!
Yum! This sounds so amazing!! I don’t really get football and I don’t think I ever will, but I do enjoy the food. This dip alone is good enough to put up with the football nonsense.
A few years ago, I was right there with ya, Amanda! I guess the Packer’s green and gold just sort of oozed into me 😉
So – have you ever looked at a food photo and had those little glands in the back of your mouth light up and start (painfully) squirting drool all over? Yup – that’s happening now! Cheesy spinach dip is pretty amazeballs – but with bacon – hotdiggitydog!
Oh my freakin’ word, Shashi! Your comment just made me LOL so loudly, I scared my cat out of a deep slumber. Three cheers for you, my best blog comment of the year recipient!
You cannot go wrong with bacon and cheese! And the spinach makes this a vegetable dish, right?
Now that you mention it, Stacy, YES… spinach IS a vegetable, so let’s eat this dip every day. It’s good for us after all!
